Chapter 13: Out of the Shadows

Snapping back to reality from his memories, the Grey Painter has a decision to make. The choice is already daunting enough, facing Vira, but both of them know full well their patron is always watching from afar… and hates to be disappointed.

Players will earn prizes, and plot points, by participating in the storyline throughout the plot itself. Some prizes will be earned by playing mini games and/or via the Battledome. There is a chapter max of 4,000 points in place.

Baelia shares her past to show Ozzy he isn’t alone, urging him to trust in those who truly care for him. As Nyx fights to protect her brother, Ozzy begins to waver—just as Vira prepares to strike again. You can read all the plot dialogue here.

Page Three

What's going on, Luxinia?; Ozzy takes Baelia’s words to heart and decides to drop the Acrimonious Paint Brush. Then, he extends a hand to Vira, suggesting they were both used and that it’s not too late for either of them. It’s sweet that he is ready to forgive her manipulations, but is she ready to accept his help?

The Malevolent Being grows impatient and decides to take matter into their own hands.

Page Five

As the Malevolent Being appears, they immediately begins to coerce Vira.

Page Six

The Malevolent Being continues to belittle Vira, tempting her with an offer they believe she can’t refuse.

Page Seven

Overwhelmed by opposing forces pulling her in different directions, Vira can no longer endure the strain and ultimately gives up.

Page Eight

As Vira tries to run away she is restrained by the Malevolent Being.
