P3 Habitats FAQ

Introduction

Welcome our Habitarium guide! You must be getting started with the game! Habitarium may seem complicated at first, but don't worry, once you understand how to play, it's quite simple. All controls use the mouse for simplicity.

The Basics

Number Object Description
1 Petpetpet This is a Petpetpet (P3)! The main goal in the game is to keep these alive, because without them, you cannot do anything else.
2 Resource This is a resource , a stone resource to be specific. These are harvested to build buildings and purchase repair tools, food, ink, and decorations.
3 Building This is a house. A house is one of the five buildings currently available - these are used to store resources, as well as to heal, feed, and rest petpetpets.
4 Inventory This is your inventory, once you purchase an item from the market, it will go in here.
5 Market This is the market, where you buy everything using your resources.
6 Data This displays data on whatever is currently selected on your board.
7 Resource Count By hovering over each symbol, you can see how much of each resource you have.
8 Neighbour This is your neighbour bar. It will show your neighbour's name, active pet, and level. It also lets you preform a few actions related to your neighbour.

As you can see at the top, there is a numbered star next to a bar with more numbers. The star holds your level number (50 currently the maximum) and the bar shows your progress towards the next level.

Won't You Be My Neighbor?

Once you've figured out your own Habitarium, you can start interacting with your neighbors. Any Neofriends who play Habitarium will be automatically added as neighbors at the bottom of the screen.

Neighbor Screen

There are four options you can choose from. We'll deal with them from left to right.

Gift

The first option, the gift box, is of course to give your neighbor a gift. When you click it, your bag will open and a screen like this will appear.

Items you can't gift, such as eggs or NC items, will be in grey. To gift any of the items in colour, simply drag the item to the box and hit send. They will receive your gift through the Events Log.

Raid

Your second option is to raid your neighbor's Habitarium. This involves sending your soldiers out to fight with their soldiers and hopefully bring back resources. If you lose the raid, your soldiers may not all return. Never send out more than you can spare.

Raid

Help

If you now feel guilty about raiding them, you also have the option to help them.

Help Screen
  • Take Care of Petpet - Refills all the status bars for one P3
  • Repair a Building - Reduce level of damage on one building by one
  • Repair All Resource Tiles - Restores all resources

You are allowed to help a NeoFriend once a day, and will reward you 50EXP for doing so.

View

Finally, you have the option to view your neighbor's Habitarium. Your own Habitarium will continue to function while your are viewing others. You cannot interact with your neighbor's Habitarium directly, but it's still just adorable to watch them working away.

Moving On!

Now that you know the basics of the game, you should start to get more familiar with the details. Learning more about the petpetpets themselves is a good place to continue.
