[XIX] Staff Tournament 2024

Overview

The love of the Altador Cup transcends players and even reaches Staff members, so they decided to put on a tournament and allow us to draft our fantasy team.

How to participate is easy - set your Neopets staff fantasy team's roster by selecting two forwards, two defenders, and a goalie. You have until end of round to choose your team or make roster changes. You'll then be awarded points based upon the play of your staffers to spend in the prize shop at the end of the tournament.

Choosing Your Team

To start choosing players for you fantasy-team you'll need to head over to the Staff Tournament page. On this page you'll see a list of staff members split up into 3 groups; Forwards, Defenders & Goalie. By clicking the image of each staff member you can read a short bio for them. When you've decided on a team member you'll click on their image and then choose Add Player.

If you've chosen a player you decide you don't want any more all you have to do is click on their image again (in the same place you added them) and a Drop Player button will then appear allowing you to choose someone else.

When you've decided on your entire team you will need to finalize it by clicking the Choose Team button. You can change your team at anytime all the way to the deadline of the current round, just make sure when you do that you finalize it once again.

After finalizing your team a new button will pop-up that says Choose Star Player. Clicking this will open up a window that will essentially allow you to choose a "VIP". During each round of the Staff Tournament TNT will choose a Star Player; should you correctly guess who that Star Player is you'll recieve an item prize.

Roster

Staff from all departments get together to participate in the tournament. They will represent their respective Altador Cup teams, and play for 30 minutes each day. Their wins will be calculated in to points for us to spend in the prize shop.

Results

Results are posted every Wednesday, over the course of three weeks. Your fantasy team players points will be totaled up and be turned in to points toward the prize shop.

Star Player

In each round, one staffer will be nominated the Star Player for that round. The criteria for this selection may vary each time - it could be the top scorer one round, attitude the next round & consistency the round after that. Your job is to guess the Star Player for each round. If you guess correctly, you will get a bonus prize for that round.
