Signing up for Neopets Premium is easy. You have two options for signing up, but one is a little better than the other. Having Premium gives you exclusive access to special things regular neopets users can't access. Special prizes are also given out for doing special things. Premium is one of the best things about Neopets. Note: Premium does cost real money.

Pricing and Payment Options

There are two pricing options:
$7.99 a month: (US Dollars) This is for users who would like to pay on a month-to-month basis. The pros would be being able to cancel at any time and possibly saving yourself some money. The con would be that this option is more expensive over the long run (you would have to pay $95.88 per year, instead of $69.95 per year).
$69.95 a year: (US Dollars) This is for users who would like to pay on a year-to-year basis. This will definitely save you money in the long run.

There is also a $15.95 (monthly) and $99.99 (yearly) option that gives you dial-up internet access from Neopets. All options come with a 15 day trial, but you must cancel it before the 15 days are up, otherwise you will get billed for a month.

International Conversions:

Click here to convert USD prices. However you pay, the equivalent amount of USD will be subtracted from your account. For example, if you live in the European Economic Community, only EUR5.63 will be subtracted for a $7.99 fee. At publish date of this article, $7.99 is equivalent to EUR5.63, UK4.89, CAD7.93, and AUD7.83.

There are three payment options:

Major Credit Card:

You will need the following information to sign up via this method: cardholders name, credit card number, card expiration date, and the CVV2. Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express are accepted, as are any debit cards carrying those logos.

Electronic Funds Transfer

(For US residents only): You will need the following information to sign up via this method: account number and your bank's routing number.

PayPal:

You will need to follow the instructions on the PayPal pages to sign up via this method. Note that if you decide to cancel at any time in your 15-day free trial, and you subscribed via Paypal, you will lose the privilege to pay in the future via both Paypal and EFT.

How to Sign-Up

You have two options when deciding to sign-up:

Premium Referral:

This option is not always available, but you can always give it a try. Go to Premium Sign-Up Page to see if Neopets is currently allowing people to just simply sign up.

Remember that if you are under 18 years of age, you must ask permission to purchase Neopets Premium; using another's account without permission is fraud, and carries substantial difficulties with the authorities with it.

The Daily Neopets recommends that you use option #1 when trying to sign up. This method is guaranteed to get you a fast premium referral 100% of the time, while option #2 may not.
