Introduction
Neopets Premium is a subscription service that TNT offers it's playerbase to purchase with real-world currency in exchange for site-perks & features that you otherwise would not have access to.

Subscribing & Pricing
To sign up for the Neopets Premium you'll need to visit the Premium Membership page & click the green Subscribe Now button. Here you will find two plans: Annual Subscription ($69.95 USD Billed Annually) or Monthly Subscription ($7.95 Billed Monthly)
Once you've decided on a plan go ahead and click on one of the Choose This Plan! buttons. A window will pop-up prompting you to re-enter your login details, after doing so you'll be taken to a screen where you can put in you payment details and viola! You're all good to go! It may take a few moments for everything to process.
Perks & Features
Being a Premium user gives you access to all kinds of goodies for you to partake in. Below you can see a clickable master-list of everything currently available to Premium Subscribers. Some of the perks will take you to a stand-a-alone guide while others are included in this article.

+10 Gallery Categories
Having a gallery is something you'll find pretty commonly on Neopets, but what makes this perk so special is that it allows you to create an additional +10 categories in your gallery that you will get to keep even if your Premium runs out.
Cosmic Dome
Premium users will have access to an exclusive arena in the Battledome called the Cosmic Dome. In this arena you will find two opponents that are always available; the Giant Space Fungus & Jetsam Ace.
In addition to these exclusive challengers, players will also have access to a rotating selection of previously retired opponents. This pool changes approximately every three months and features 3-4 challengers at a time.

Even More Pets!
Since 2012, all Premium members have enjoyed the benefit of an additional pet slot as long as their membership is active allowing Premium users to care for up to 5 Neopets. From October 2017 to November 2019, a new pet slot was introduced for all Neopians, increasing the maximum number of Neopets a Premium member could have to 6. Then, in November 2019, another slot was added, bringing the total to 7 pets for Premium members. On December 20, 2021, pet slots were available for purchase via NC. This allows Premium members to have 20 pets in total.
Losing Pet Slots
If you choose to cancel your Premium membership, you will unfortunately lose your pet slots. When your premium expires you will be prompted to decide what to do with your extra pets acquired via the premium pet slots. You'll need to choose which pets will be placed in essentially a dormant state. During this process, you will not be able to access most features on Neopets until you've made your selection.
Dormant pets will appear faded out and can be made active again by either purchasing pet slots from the NC Mall, transferring them to a side account or by re-subscribing to premium.
Monthly Fortune Cookie
This perk is awarded on the 15th of each month alongside your monthly Premium Collectible. The fortune cookie you receive is randomly selected from the options listed below.

Premium Interface & Hub
When browsing the classic Neopets site, a toolbar will appear at the bottom of every page, offering quick access to a variety of Premium features. This includes tools like the Super Shop Wizard, a Premium Featured Game, links to your Dailies, your Bankroll, the Customisation Journal, Species Change Perk, Space Faerie Scratchcard redemption, as well as access to your Premium Neodeck, Premium Neoboards, and the Premium FAQ.
The Bankroll section displays your total Neopoint balance, combining your bank account, shop till, and on-hand Neopoints (shown in the top right corner of the page). It helps you easily keep track of your available funds across all areas of your Neopets account.
Premium Neodeck
A new section called Premium Cards will appear in your Neodeck when subscribing to premium. These cards are not tradable or sellable—they are exclusive, collectible pieces of artwork that reflect how long you've been a Premium member. Typically, each card is themed around the Neopian month during which it was awarded, allowing you to showcase your Premium status with a touch of Neopian flair.
Premium Charm
The Space Faerie Charm is not a physical item, instead is displayed on your User Lookup. The charm can randomly double the Neopoints you earn from Flash games when submitting scores. The increased Neopoints happens before any extra Neopoint bonuses from your Lutari Talisman are applied.
Space Faerie Quests
Premium members unlock the ability to recieve quests from Mira, the Space Faerie herself! Mira will ask for items valued between r81-r94. In return, she will reward you with 5 levels for your active pet.
Species Change Perk
You can use the Species Change Perk once every 365 days. This cooldown continues even if you cancel Premium. For example, if you use it on September 3, 2024, you must wait until September 3, 2025 to use it again—unsubscribing does not reset the timer.
The perk can be accessed from your Premium Toolbar or through this page. You choose which pet to change and select its new species. If your pet’s current color exists for the new species, only the species changes. If not, you’ll be prompted to pick a color the new species can wear.
This perk lets users create “dream pets.” For example, a Blue Blumaroo can become a Candy Hissi by first painting it a color the Hissi cannot wear. At the time of writing this those were Burlap, Clay, Gold, Invisible, Oil Paint, Silver, Sketch, Snot, Strawberry, Swamp Gas, or Valentine.
The perk also allows access to pets normally limited to special pet days—like the Chomby or Lutari—and rare species such as Draiks, Krawks, or the limited-release Ice Bori. Because new colors release monthly, always check current color availability. The Premium Species Change Perk Helper on Neocolours is updated regularly and helps ensure you pick the right color for your dream transformation.
Streak Save Tickets
The Streak Save feature, introduced on February 25, 2025, lets users protect their Weekly Quest Streak and Trudy's Surprise streak if they miss a day.
Premium users get four Streak Save tickets each month—two for Trudy’s Surprise and two for the Weekly Quest Streak. These aren’t physical items; a pop-up appears when a streak is about to break, allowing you to use a ticket and keep your progress. Tickets reset monthly and do not carry over.
If Premium is canceled, all unused Streak Save tickets are removed. Premium must be active at the moment the streak breaks—you cannot recover a streak lost before subscribing.
Saving or Forfeiting a Streak
When a streak breaks, a pop-up shows your current streak length and remaining tickets. You must choose to save or forfeit before you can continue Trudy’s Surprise or the Weekly Quest Streak. Saving keeps your streak; forfeiting resets it to Day 1. For the Weekly Quest Streak, forfeiting does not re-roll your current reward—only a paid re-roll changes it.
You have 7 days to decide. If no choice is made, the streak is automatically forfeited. During this time, you cannot participate in either feature until you select save or forfeit.
Super Shop Wizard
The Super Shop Wizard (SSW) is a major Premium perk found on the bottom-left toolbar (or top-left on mobile pages). It works like the regular Shop Wizard but is far more powerful, as it searches all user shops to find the lowest price. However, it cannot search for Transmogrification Potions, Nerkmids, most Paint Brushes, or Secret Lab and Petpet Lab map pieces. Attempting to do so will display: "Sorry, you are not allowed to search for ______ with the Super Shop Wizard."
The SSW has an hourly search limit; once the wizard becomes tired, you must wait until the next hour to resume searching. (For example, if it tires at 1:56 NST, it resets at 2:00 NST.)
The SSW also cannot be used during an active Faerie Quest and scans galleries the same way as the regular SW, so it’s best to use the regular wizard for gallery checks to save searches.
The “price only” option shows the average shop price of an item and allows setting a maximum price. These searches don’t reveal individual shops and do not count toward your hourly limit, making them useful for pricing your own shop.
