Naming a Neopets Guild
When creating a guild, you should always have a unique and creative name in mind. Most people make the common mistake of just slapping any old name on their guild - it's all in the name, my friend! Anyway, here are some tips when creating and naming your guild.
Curiosity
Now, if you named your guild "The Place for Free Stuff and Neopoints," that doesn't cause very much curiosity in the user. Everybody has heard that name before! You have to lure the user in an order for them to join. Instead of just describing what your guild is (thats what the description is for!) try to intrigue the user with a wacky name; it doesn't have to have a meaning, you know. Keep this in mind.

"Am I unique enough for you?"
Avoid Punctuation
Strange as this may sound, don't use punctuation in your guild's name. Using ~, !!, **, +, @ makes your guild name appear silly or unprofessional. Also, do not use numbers such as 2 in your name... use the word 'two' instead.
Be Creative
This is key. If you have a creative name that nobody has heard of before, then they will take interest and check you out. That's the lure - the thing that brings them in - and if they like what they see, then you've got yourself a new member!
Ask Around
Ask your friends what they think of your guild name. Other people are full of ideas!
Having a good name for your guild is the first thing you should work on, then worry about other activities, "the look," community, and other aspects of your guild. Often the most successful guilds have really random names, such as "Vivid", "Ice Tea", "BlankPAGE", etc. Remember - grab a potential new member's attention!
