Xandra is blasting spells at Hanso. Fortunately, he has the artefact in his possession and can use it to absorb part of the spells. While doing so, he shouts insults at Xandra. But, be careful with your words... it's never a good idea to upset Xandra too much! You have up to survive the duel for a minimum of five turns, or else the artefact might absorb too much energy and you will have to start over.

Specifically, you will lose if the artefact's energy absorption reaches 100%, or goes up by more than 40% in one round.

Here is a full list of the insults you can shout at Xandra:

• Being shot at is really nothing new to me. *yawn*
• Could we hurry this up a little? I've got places to be.
• Did you win the Neopie for "Neopia's Nerdiest Magician"?
• Didn't you ever learn how to use your words?
• Didn't your mother teach you it's rude to try to vaporise people?
• Do you get all of your clothes from scrounging around the Money Tree, or just that rag?
• Have you ever been mistaken for a Very Stinky Cheese and rolled down a hill in Meridell?
• Here's a Neopoint, maybe you can go buy a clue with it.
• Let me guess? You're doing your best Edna impression?
• Nobody likes a homicidal maniac!
• Now I see why you needed this artefact - your magic skills stink!
• Nox must've died from laughing at your magical abilities.
• Something tells me you didn't study with the faeries long enough.
• Speckled? What, you couldn't afford a Blue Paint Brush?
• There are Petpetpets on Kreludor who could aim better than you!
• Until I met you, I didn't even know there was an Ugly Paint Brush!
• You smell funny!
• You're just jealous you'll never be as powerful as Fyora!
• You're not good with moving targets, are you?
• Your mastery of magic is like Jelly World - it doesn't exist!

Lose quickly

Some insults cause the game to end prematurely because they upset Xandra way too much... Avoid them if you are trying to win the game:

• Did you win the Neopie for "Neopia's Nerdiest Magician"?
• Here's a Neopoint, maybe you can go buy a clue with it.
• Let me guess? You're doing your best Edna impression?
• Nox must've died from laughing at your magical abilities.
• Now I see why you needed this artefact - your magic skills stink!
• Something tells me you didn't study with the faeries long enough.
• Until I met you, I didn't even know there was an Ugly Paint Brush!
• You're just jealous you'll never be as powerful as Fyora!

Absorb none or little damage

Some other insults result into no or little damage absorbed by the artefact. It's good to use them if you are going for a win.

Use each of the insults at least once.

Over 9000
What, are you in a hurry? Because clearly we are not.

Absorb over 100% of the energy with the artefact in no more than three insults. This doesn't count if you absorb more than 40% on your last turn.

Supercharger
You must have taken Insults 101, because you're pretty good at this. No, seriously, I mean it. I'm not being sarcastic. No, really. Why are you glaring at me? *sigh*
