Defenders of Neopia 2 Challengers Guide
This guide is designed to offer some advice on how to beat each of the challengers for Defenders of Neopia Series 2. The stats, abilities and weapons mentioned here are simply some that we recommended - depending on your luck, and fighting style, you may be able to beat them with very different strategies.

Mr. Chuckles
A mischievous clown armed with so much tricks that even the whole Haunted Woods gets annoyed.
How to Obtain
If you look around Deserted Fairground, they will say that you should refresh in the Coconut Shy to find him.
Recommended Stats
Here are some of the minimum stats that you may want your pet to have before clowning around with this fellow.

Defense | For a cautious approach, get the 20 boost. |
Faerie Abilities
You can easily defeat him without using any abilities, but since the Level 1 abilities are free, you should probably get one. We recommend Static Cling. It provides an extra 3 light icons of attack every turn.

Suggested Weapons
Some weapons you may find useful for this battle are...
The Oversized Maractite Rune Sword or another dual-duty is the perfect weapon which is both offensive and defensive. It will help defend against his water attack. Just be sure to finish him quickly before he uses his Ultra Bubble Gun against you.
If you want a healer, Lesser Healing Scroll or a Slime Potion are good options.
Eyrieki
If you hate mummies, then tough luck. This undead eyrie has some nice tricks of his own and it might bring you back to its tomb if you are careless.
How to Obtain
If you are sure that you want to tango with this undead, disturb him by clicking at any door in the Temple of 1,000 Tombs.

Suggested Weapons
As for weapons you may like to some of these:
Gilded War Hammer or another dual-duty is good for this battle to help you defend while attacking. Gilded War Hammer will help protect against his dark attack. Another good choice would be Snowager Sword, to defend against his fire attack.
It's best to have a healer from this point on and a Lesser Healing Scroll would be a good first choice.
You might be interested to some one-use items like Sand Snowballs which could help you finish him quickly.
Kasuki Lu
This butt-kicking chia is a master of several martial arts. He believes that he will be champion someday and will crush those who stands in his way.
How to Obtain
Knowing your opponent is a good thing. Look at a Kasuki Lu card and you will get challenge.

Suggested Weapons
Some good weapons for this battle are...
A Snowager Sword or Elegant Desert Sword is a good option since they defend and attack in the same time. They also both offer some protection against Kasuki Lu's fire attack. However, you still have to be careful because some of his weapons cannot be blocked by these.
For a healer you can use either a Lesser Healing Scroll or a Blue Scorchstone, if you want a slightly better healer.
You might be interested to some one-use items like Sand Snowballs which could help you finish him quickly. For something stronger, consider a 15-icon muffin like Robot Muffin.
Downsize! is a very useful weapon from here on.
Lady Frostbite
Now this is one lady that is sure to give you a cold shoulder. It's advised to wear thick jacket when dealing with her.

Some good weapons for this battle are...
Getting a strong constant like Scroll of the Wise, Scroll of the Fool, or Scroll of the Scholar is now a good option. These deal 10 icons and will be helpful to defeat her quickly.
Leaf Shield is very useful to defend against her water, earth and physical attacks.
You might be interested to some 15-icon one-use items like Robot Muffin, which could help you finish her quickly.
For a healer you can use either a Blue Scorchstone or a Greater Healing Scroll.
If you can't afford a Thyoras Tear, Downsize! is the next best option.
Cybunny Scout
The Cybunny Scout may not be evil, but she isn't someone you want attacking you...
How to Obtain
To get the Cybunny Scout as a challenger, visit her TCG Card.

Having a level 25 faerie ability is highly recommended for this fight. An Icicle can help your attacks have an extra punch.

Some good weapons for this battle are...
Getting a Scroll of Knowledge, which deals 11 icons, will be helpful to defeat the Scout quickly. If you can't afford that, a 10-icon weapon like Scroll of the Wise, Scroll of the Fool, or Scroll of the Scholar will work well, too.
Sophies Magic Hat is very useful to defend against her fire, dark, earth and physical attacks.
You might be interested to some one-use items like Robot Muffin which could help you finish her quickly. For something a little cheaper and a little weaker, consider Jar of Meepit Eyes.
For a healer you can use either a Blue Scorchstone or a Greater Healing Scroll.
If you can't afford a Thyoras Tear, Downsize! is the next best option.
