Haunted Woods Hunt

Introduction

The Haunted Woods Hunt is a daily activity that was introduced on November 26, 2025, as part of the Varwolf mini-plot. To participate, your account must be at least three months old.

How It Works

In this daily, simply click the five images to try and dig up prizes. But be warned - you may dig up nothing at all!

Players are eligibel to watch an ad to play again. Premium users have a chance at an extra prize.

Unique Prizes

There are three unique items that have a very rare chance of showing up at the Haunted Woods Hunt. These items are used to craft an item that is needed to complete the Varwolf Quest at the Cooking Pot.

Fester Detector

Several weeks after the launch of the Haunted Woods Hunt, the NC Mall introduced the Fester Detector. When activated, this item guarantees at least one prize drop per day for 72 hours. The Fester Detector takes effect upon clicking your first object of the day during the hunt.

After puchashing the Fester Detector it can be found in the NC section of your inventory and is activated in the same way as a Fortune Cookie. Once active, a banner will appear on the Haunted Woods Hunt page displaying your remaining duration and confirming that the detector is currently in use.

While active, the Fester Detector limits potential rewards to a smaller selection of items from the existing prize pool, making it easier to obtain specific prizes. Below is a list of all items that can be found while using the Fester Detector.
