Festival of Neggs 2011

The Festival of Neggs is much like a Springtime version of the Faerie Festival, and a more complex version of the Springtime Celebration. Everyday you go to the Festival Page to obtain an exclusive free prize! You can also help Kari on quests. Kari is the Negg Faerie whom resides in the Neggery within Ice Caves of Terror Mountain. Be sure to check everyday, here and there, for coverage, quests, and prizes! Also, be sure to check out its NeoCash partner, Neggstravaganza Surprise!

About

The Festival of Neggs is a yearly event that celebrates Spring. Preparations quests are available to all Neopians until April 19th 2011. You will also be able to take part in a Negg Hunt between April 20th and May 5th 2011.

Negg Hunt

After Kari got the whole Negg Festival set up with our help, she decided we need to search for neggs to get a special reward. Completing every negg on the day they are released gives you a bonus. There are also random plastic neggs all over the website, but you are looking for those which are featured on the main page. The Random neggs don't count for your search, just for the community challenge.

Quests

Kari the Negg Faerie has hidden neggs all around Neopia. When you accept to do her quest, she gives you an hint and then it's your job to explore Neopia to complete the quest. You can only do one quest at the time. Also, remember that she can hide neggs anywhere, including in shops, battledome arenas, game pages, etc. The Daily Neopets will update the information with the latest solutions and prizes.

Scrambled Neggs

Visit the Festival of Neggs and accept the fourth quest given by Kari.
Kari needs help to deliver Neggs around Neopia. She hands you some cards that represents four volunteers that you must find. However, something was spilled on the cards and they are rather blurry.
Visit the Tiki Tack Man and click on the button to give him a basket. Then click on the button to solve another clue, which brings you back to the messy masterpieces page.
Visit Fairfax the Deckhand , one of the Food Club contestant, and click on the button to give him a basket. Then click on the button to solve another clue, which brings you back to the messy masterpieces page.
Visit Roberta and click on the button to give her a basket. Then click on the button to solve another clue, which brings you back to the messy masterpieces page.
Visit the Neggery Apprentice and click on the button to give him a basket. Then click on the button to solve another clue, which brings you back to the messy masterpieces page.
Now you can return to Kari and claim your rewards.

Visit the Festival of Neggs and accept the third quest given by Kari.
Kari needs some baskets to hold her painted neggs. Visit Meri Acres Farm in Meridell and play a game of Pick Your Own .
The Surly Berry Farmer thinks that his punnets are rather plain and suggest that you decorate them. According to him, the Rubbish Dump is full of treasures that could enhance the look of your baskets.
You manage to find some ribbons that are covered with disgusting stains. Fortunately, Kayla has just the right potion to clean up that mess.
Kayla also offers to prepare some dyes for you, but you need to fetch the main ingredient. which is located in Maraqua .
Click "get going " to proceed into next step. You have to collect Slugawoo's slime in a specific order. Unfortunately, the order is different for everyone, so you have to go with the trials and errors method.
Pay a visit to Edna and she will help you to mix Slugawoo's slime in order to create the right colours. Click on the link to return to Kayla .
Now you can return to Kari and give her all the supplies to claim your rewards.

Visit the Festival of Neggs and accept the second quest given by Kari.
Kari needs some cloth to decorate a booth that you will find in Uni's Clothing .
Unfortunately, the shopkeeper does not have any spare fabric for you and she sends you to Prigpants and Swolthy Tailors to get the fabric.
The tailors confirm that they have received the wrong shipment and propose that you hand it over to Uni's Clothing . Once you are there, don't forget to accept the shirt!
The shopkeeper is now suggesting you to find someone with a truly majestic sense of style such as Princess Lunara .
Princess Lunara suggests that we add Cherry Blossom to enhance the decoration of the booth. You need to score above 500 points in Top Chop in order to gather some. (Guide)
Be sure to click on the button to return to Princess Lunara after playing Top Chop. The Princess will then arrange the flowers for you.
Now you can return to Kari and give her all the supplies to claim your rewards.

Wood you help?

Visit the Festival of Neggs and accept the first quest given by Kari.
Kari needs some basic building materials that you will find in at the Neopian Furniture Store .
The shopkeeper does not have the material that you need, but he encourages you to pay a visit to a well known foreman (alternatively, try this link if you have not completed the Altador Plot).
Unhappy to see you, the foreman chases you away!... and you end up in the Chocolate Factory . Refresh until you see "Delicious Chocolates" for 0 Neopoints.
After clicking on the chocolates, go back to the Angry Yurble (alternatively, try this link if you have not completed the Altador Plot).
He tells you about a bunch of wood that can be chop.
You need to mark the wood correctly before cutting it. Refer to the image below:
Since the foreman does not have the tools you need, he sends you to Lampwyck's Lights Fantastic .
The shopkeeper invites you to investigate basement (click on the purple button), and then return upstairs (click on the button again). Now you can return to Kari and give her all the supplies to claim your rewards.

NC Mall Quests

In order to suceed in those quests, you do not have to create all the color combinations. You can do the NC Quests as many times as you would like, but keep in mind that it won't award you any bonus.

The Golden Negg (NC Quest)

1. Visit the Festival of Neggs page and accept the quest.

2. Buy the Unpainted Fountain Trinket and two paint buckets, for a total of 150NC.

3. Go back to the Festival of Neggs . Click on the first fountain and select a paint color. Do the same for the second bucket. Then, give the items to Kari to claim your reward.
