The Neopets Vault: April Fools '05

The Neopets Team pulled a practical joke on Neopians for April 1st, 2005. They claimed to release a ton of new Neopet species. As it was April Fools, these pets were not actually released.

The Lamameeah was made into a Neopet on January 6th, 2006, becoming the Gnorbu. The Calabat, Petoot, Slymook, Soreen, and Urchull were released as petpets on April 26, 2005. Later on May 18, 2025, the Duocorn, Gwalla and Carmariller became petpets.
