The Story

You play as Adee, a Chia who eats so much ice cream that it gives her weird dreams at night. In this one, she's trapped in an ice cream factory and the ice cream is out for REVENGE! *Gasp!*

The Controls

It's real simple. Use your mouse to move Adee around and not hit any ice cream scoops, all to the tune of some nice music!

The Lowdown

This one reminds me a little of Asteroids, only you can't shoot back. The goal of the game is to get as far in the ice cream factory as you can by avoiding the ice cream scoops shot at you by the ice cream cone cannon things at the bottom of the screen. If you avoid them, you get points. If you get hit by one, all the ice cream scoops on the screen disappear and you lose a life. There are also power-ups shot out of the cannons that include good stuff and bad stuff. The good stuff includes the purple scoop with a small Chia on it (makes you smaller so you can dodge easier), the red minus sign scoop (makes the ice cream move slower), a silver shield scoop (makes you temporarily invincible), a pink heart scoop (gives you an extra life), and the fish and cherry scoops which give you an extra 250 and 100 points respectively. The bad ones are the green plus sign scoop (which makes the ice cream faster), and the blue big Chia scoop (makes you bigger and easier to hit). The last power-up is the strawberry bomb, which isn't really good or bad. It takes all of the ice cream on the screen away which can save your life, but can also cost you points (in lost ice cream) and blow up some more valuable power-ups.

The Tips and Tricks

  • Stay in the top center of the screen. Try to avoid the edges as they limit your dodging space.
  • The minus sign and shrinking Chia ice cream scoops are lasting power-ups and can be stacked. Stacking the power-ups is when you collect more than one minus sign scoop or small Chia scoop. The more you collect, the slower the ice cream and smaller the Chia. The stacked power-ups will last until one of these things happens: the level ends, you lose a life, or you collect a different type of power-up (a shield, an extra life, or either of the two extra-point scoops). So be careful. You don't want to grab an extra life only to have your slowdown power-up deactivate and get you creamed.
  • If you are trapped and can't move without getting hit, get as far back as possible to at least get any ice cream scoops around you to be counted for points.
  • If there is a strawberry bomb around and you're trapped, don't be afraid to use it. Even if it does take out a power-up, at least you won't lose a life.
  • There is a cheat code to get you an extra life, strawberryvanillachocolate, but you DO NOT have to enter it while you're dodging ice cream; entering it between levels works too.
  • The ice cream scoops with toppings on them are not power-ups, they just count for double points when you dodge 'em, so don't try to collect them like a power-up.

Another Cheat

On the game Ice Cream Machine, click to play game. Wait for the screen to show up looking like it's been splat by a giant blob of strawberry ice cream (the first level). Do not click play. Instead, wait three minutes until you hear a "Dong" and see Ollie instead of the girl from the game. Throughout the game, Ollie gives lots of power-ups and stuff. And occasionally, there will be an Ollie scoop that gives 1000 points. :) Much thanks to Asra for this tip!

Conclusion

There isn't really much else to explain, just follow those tips and with some fast reflexes and a little luck, you could be one avatar richer! YAY!
