Not long after the opening of the NC Mall, the Neopets Team introduced Neocash cards. Neocash cards are tangible cards purchased in stores which, when redeemed, award the user with Neocash, the virtual currency of the NC Mall.

The following guide shows you how to buy and redeem Neocash cards.

What?

As said above, Neocash cards allow the user to purchase Neocash without the use of PayPal. They come in values of US $10, US $15 and US $25 which give, respectively, 1000 NC, 1500 NC and 2650 NC ; the $25 NC card comes with a bonus of 150 NC.

Speaking of bonuses, every NC card redeemed by the user gives an exclusive item for your Neopet!

On the front of the NC card is a pretty design; the cards they come in 10 different Neopets-themed designs. On the back of the card is a ten digit scratch off code that presents the PIN you need to redeem your Neocash.

Neocash will expire if it not used in one year from the time of the NC card's redemption.

Where?

Neocash cards can be purchased in Target, CVS, 7 Eleven and Wal Mart in the US. They can also be purchased in 7 Eleven and Shoppers Drugs Mart in Canada. They are generally found in the Music section or with other prepaid cards. Some of these store offer you to buy their products online and to have them shipped to your house.

Redeeming Neocash Cards

To redeem your newly purchased Neocash Card, head over to the Get Neocash page and scroll down to the 'Redeem Neocash Cards' section.

All sales are final. There are absolutely no refunds for Neocash purchases.

Click either the $10, $15 or $25 box, depending on which Neocash card you purchased, and then enter your PIN code, which is a ten digit code. While the back of the NC card formats it like so: XXX XXX XXXX, you can punch it in without spaces.

A Terms and Conditions page will then come up. Read the T&Cs, and then tick the "I accept" box and click "Redeem Now".

If your PIN code was incorrect, you will prompted to enter it again. If it does not work after you have checked it multiple times, contact Neopets Support through this form.

If your PIN code was correct, you will reach a page informing you as such. There, you will also receive your bonus item. As this page implies, you can start spending your newly redeemed Neocash!

The aforementioned Neomail confirmation will come in not too soon afterwards. Save it to your hard disk; it is a receipt of your transaction.
